Steering Committee

A Steering Committee will be operative until the time when a permanent organizational governance is set up. 

The Steering Committee will be able to approve public statements in behalf of Christians For The Mountains, to issue press releases, to set up conferences and meetings, to set up a working financial system, and to solicit, approve, and disseminate information pertaining to Christianity and earthkeeping. 

Representation on the Steering Committee is currently open.  It is anticipated that about six to nine persons is adequate for the time being.  The Steering Committee may occasionally need to meet but hopefully most communication can be done through email or conference calls.
