ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Christians For The Mountains formed in May 2005.  To that end, a Steering Committee is currently the process whereby Christians For The Mountains can be fully participatory, effective, and diverse yet unified.

Because this organization functions foremost as a network and coalition of Christians involved with care of God’s creation in the Appalachian region, representation is sought from the various denominations and Christian organizations.

Most importantly, the voices and active service of each and every supporter is valued.  There are plenty of opportunities for everyone.

Public statements representing Christians For The Mountains should be cleared by the Steering Committee.

Christians For The Mountains is handling money through a 501 (c) 3 as a partner of World Stewardship Institute.  Financial accountability is critical.

Persons interested in developing governance policy please step forward.
